Our Garden

Must really show off what's in store in our garden.
Our garden back at our Kota Marudu house, of course, where else?!

Doesn't look like a lady's finger yet.............more like baby's finger!

It's growing....it's growing......after a long wait, hubby's green finger is definitely working it's way to real life!

Always blooming, night and day.........

decorating the front yard.......
Planted three onions, but only one growing..............AHHH!!!!! I should be grateful! hahaha

Look! What have I bought!

All I asked was a climbing plant and the tow-key showed me this!
According to him, it's the most beautiful flower he ever planted.
So I bought it at only RM6 without knowing the name of the tree
that will later produce a trumpet-like purple flowers
in three months time.
So, I hope the flowers will grow and we'll see!

Closer to Nature

It was a lovely afternoon at Uncle Cheng Wang's little orchard,
with plenty of plants - herbs, blooming flowers and fruits,
around his house.
Good to practice my macro shots.....hahaha
This is CIKU in malay

Mulberries!
The black-purple fruits are considered ripe while the others show various stages of ripeness.

Roses are red, my love.......
Violets are blue......
Sugar is sweet, my love....
But luck may God bless you ~

This is indeed a rose.  Very unique colour to me.

Spot a pair of different coloured eyes?

Aunty Marilyn showing me her two cats.....MIAW!!!

Crawling

Having to stroll around a reserved park with your loved ones is
indeed a great treasurable moment.

And
having to see this crawling plant
is indeed showing us
life is a continual growth and strive

The Eve

Used to watch short adverts on TV
showing the children and grandchildren that came back for reunion.
Guess who actually prepared all those food that were already on the table.

So, what's for the eve?

Cute pumpkin?

The new blooms of Ixora or is it not?

Just a simple reunion lunch before the reunion dinner :)

Won't miss the shot of lo kam (mandarin oranges)

yumm..........

1Malaysia dishes for dinner.....thanks to Fei Fei (my cousin-in-law) and fellow cousins for preparing all these food :)

Let's eat, loved ones :)

Thought that I just posted a few, ooops...only two pictures.
Too much smoke and sound that I nearly turned deaf.
Guess I need to practice more on how to catch a fireworks!

Last post of the year.....

......My chabo friend just updated her facebook status, saying that in 2011, we must always be in peace so that money will pour in our pocket like water.  Hahaha....she heard that on the radio.  Well, guess that's for us to judge.  I could see many flowers blooming in my backyard and first time, I saw this small fruit growing from a fortune plant.  Never bear fruit before but am happy something actually grow in the garden.  Fortune coming soon?  Hehehe....

So, that's about it.  My last post for the year 2010.  So see you next year.  Wont be updating for a few days as I will be in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah beginning tomorrow.
May more love, peace and harmony be showered to everyone in 2011.

Chilli from potty

Mum always said how much she loves and happy to see her flowers blossoming.....and her fruit tree bearing fruits after having to wait for a long, long time.  She sure has that so-called green-hand!  Ahaks!  Now, chillies growing from her chilli plant in a pot.....so nice!

Pots of Aloe Vera

Used to be worried I'll be running out of aloe vera but once my mum planted about 4-5 pots of them, powww......now, we have to buy more pots and top soils.  What a perfect day for gardening today.....

By the way, why the many aloe vera you may think?  I will just cut a chunk off a large leaf, slice it lengthwise and massage it all over the face, letting all those gummy gel sooth the skin.......every night before bedtime.  It's naturally good for acne and wrinkles, better than applying those conventional acne medications.
