Appreciating the Bougainvillea

God loved us and created us.  Because God has loved and will always
continue to love us.  He will never leave us alone in our helplessness.

~ Excerpt from Hushmand Fathea'zam THE NEW GARDEN ~

Seeing these flowers growing so well and beautifully, reminds one of how
great love can be.  Mum loves her bougainvillea so  much that she tends them well.
But without God's created sun, for sure, everything including these flowers would
be wrapped in darkness.

Learnt of a phrase that goes like this:

Those who love us when we needed them are our FAMILY

I am so glad that they are with us though some maybe afar.......
grandma, uncles and aunties, my best beloved boyfriend <3,
sisters in crime....(ahaks!....)......brothers......... hmmm...........(gasp! sob! sob!)
Guess it is so true that God never leave us alone in this world.
Love is indeed all around us to share.

How's porridge?

It has been the 13th time mum underwent radiotherapy,
another 12 times which means another
12 consecutive days to go.
She begins to feel the heat and
dysphagia which is common after radiation treatment to the neck.
Hmmmm.....I can only sigh and pray hard for mum's recovery.
Well, whatever it is,  she still needs to eat despite of the swallowing difficulties,
and am grateful, she indeed still has that appetite to eat ^_^
So, went to Causeway Bay Hong Kong Restaurant at Crown Square Shopping Centre again,
for the nice, hot porridge.

Mum requested for Century Egg Porridge without the chicken ham (RM5.60 per bowl)....hoping that the porridge can
ease the discomfortness.

Happy Father's Day

Bought some flowers for my late dad.
Though he is no more with us, and how I wish
for his physical presence in every photo and in every occassion,
I know he's always there to "watch and protect" us.

Happy Father's Day, pa........

..........and to those who are also missing their dads..............
and all other dads in the world too........

Romance with Beryl's

Another addition to my chocolate collection
but makes me missing him even more....

Going Sweet Potato at Mitsu Tea House

Never knew that, among the many dumplings and buns,
this particular tea house actually serve
Baked Sweet Potato,
which is considered another alternative towards taking much healthier food.
I, initially, thought it's a bad idea to have sweet potato that comes with cheese
but later I found out that, with a bit addition of fat,
one can enjoy the full benefit of the beta-carotene.
So, what I can think of......apart from calcium, phosphorus and protein,
cheese actually contains fat so.....
this fat can increase our uptake of beta-carotene from sweet potatoes
(Hehe, in fact, I have to refer to http://www.whfoods.org/, thank you very much)

Baked Sweet Potatoes at RM3.50 per plate

Crispy and delicious.......Beancurd Skin in Oyster Sauce at RM4.50 per plate

Can get all these from Mitsu Tea House,
located at No. 36, RH Plaza, Lorong Lapangan Terbang, Kuching, Sarawak
