Our Simple Indian Reception

What a tiring but unforgettable experience as our reception goes indian this time.
Our celebration of love, in time for the coming Valentine's Day, was held at
Akka Suja's house somewhere in Kajang on Saturday evening.
My favourite moment, of course, was the saree-wearing moment.
Couldn't believe my eyes, as I had been watching on how the indian wear makes a woman look so elegant and graceful, especially, in any bollywood movies all this while......
and now, having it draped on my body really exudes the femininity in me lahhhh........

Theme goes purple and creamy.....

.......nice and sweet....
more purple ribbons.....

the knob

the person behind all the nice deco.......

Can you see her?  She's good and she can do..........

see who's giving a peace sign!  Little cute Shanta!

hubby and Dorai anne were the one busy arranging all the tables and chairs

Little shanta busy also with the chair cover!  So helpful of her!

The beautiful henna on my right hand.......thanks Divya...^_^
time to eat......yum!yum!

nice catered food and it was surprisingly amazing that all the food lasted until midnight and still taste so good and fresh!
Amah was so happy and thanked both our late fathers for all the blessings showered to make this reception a successful one!

When the guests started to meet each other........

Sanjaya in deep conversation with one of the invited guests....:))

Nicely packed ladoo as door gift....
Giving is sharing..........

Everybody seemed to be enjoying their dinner :)

The perfect time to see once again long time friends and relatives..........see all these happy faces!

Come! Come!  Let's grab all the food!

All under one canopy.........

  1. Great blog post of the Indian reception. I could see all your guests flaunt in Indian clothes especially the traditional sarees. People love those clothes for occasions like a wedding reception or a marriage. Keep us posted for other such beautiful moments.
