Grateful

Fasting month of Ramadan will commence tomorrow, 21st July, this year

and would really like to wish all my Muslim colleagues and friends

Happy Fasting!

Even yesterday, I was blessed with a wonderful lunch arranged specially for me

before the fasting period begins and yeah, before my departure to the Land Below the Wind.

So thoughtful of them, I really wish to convey my sincere gratitude and wish them all the best in life.

I will surely miss them and the lab....and the office.

All the memories from day one will remain in my heart forever.....I'm totally grateful....

Anger

We gets angry very fast and to overcome anger is difficult to do.

Often when we’ve been hurt by someone, our first response is to get angry. Deep inside we want to punish someone as much as we feel we’ve been hurt but then Bahá’u'lláh teaches:

"Anger doth burn the liver: avoid [it] as you would a lion." ~ Bahá’u'lláh, The Compilation of Compilations vol. I, p. 460

Myvi got dented! What's worst still, an initial polite phone call to the person who was going to pay for the repair turned sour......he was rude and stubborn as we were trying to get this settled. First time being so angry and scolded the old man and ending up feeling so bad. I realized we were trying to defend each other and he was trying to help his son after all, right? Haizzz.........so said a prayer and hoping that everything would be settled with peace lah.....

I guess, anger doesn't really help.

But I usually end up being silent and being ignorance........feels so terrible being hurt but it's still better than hurting other people's feeling, right?!! :)

emvco

Virgin Coconut Oil, or VCO in short,

Trip to Pulau Salak

It was less than 30 minutes drive from the city

(probably because of the downpour since last night that caused the delay and I believe we could have reach the jetty within 20 minutes).

The feeling of excitement came together with some worries and fears because we had to cross the river in a boat. And yes!!!?!?! The river is infested with crocodiles!

(but thank goodness, I didn't see any sightings of the monsters in the water...or anywhere near our boat........phewww.....!)

Upon arrival at the jetty......

They had to go to the island first.......and the boatman only allow 5-6 persons per boat.......

What a great experience, despite the discomfort of hot weather,
boat trips and lack of proper toilets, I had a great time with the rest of the team involved in the project lead by Dr Haironi Yusoff.
It's indeed another unforgettable memories especially when this may already be
my last field trip organised by the medical faculty.

Desserts!

Am ON LEAVE today!!!
Do feels like Saturday though it is actually still a Friday, a working day to everybody else....hehe
So went to service my car at 3rd mile and the mechanics found out that there was a slight problem that I had to rush to the Perodua Service Centre to have a check. To my amazement, there was no leaking whatsoever, just need some easy cleaning of the black oil and the personnel adviced me to better go back to the centre to have overall service and check-up, instead of going to other workshops.

So done with all that!
Hopped to another destination........the Spring Shopping Mall!
I was so hungry, so had some economy fast food......yeah, ordered long beans cooked with eggs, bamboo shoots and also fish fillets cooked with Thai Sauce and all these cost me RM5.50......expensive for a home-cooked dishes......but what to do, need to fill in my empty tummy lah.
But the best part was, the dessert! Basically the outlet is still considered new in town since it's opening in February this year, I have to say that this is my first try-out of HIELO (pronounced as "yellow") Frozen Yogurt and at least, am happy to know that I can get something so-called low-fat, low calories, fresh and with probiotic!
