Romantic Dinner

I think he's definitely the best man in the world lah!
I always get upset when things don't work out as perfectly as I wanted to, he'll always be there to make me realize that there's nothing to be worry of and in fact, there's no point of being upset.
Just be relax!
So wanted to celebrate the birthday of my beloved man for a week.
I was so proud of him for being able to control himself from eating steak or red meat.  Ya, no meat until his birthday! Hahaha!
So went to Brass Monkey last night (Saturday) and he had a wonderful lamb rack!
Hot mushroom soup as starter
The weekend where Brass Monkey will serve Lamb Rack @ RM45.90

I had Grilled Norwegian Salmon @ RM32.00
No birthday cake but moon cake that's perfectly goes well with a cup of tea.......yum!
 Happy Birthday my beloved hubby!

Travelling Up & Down

Have been travelling around every weekend since early July for short vacations and at the same time, Roy having meetings almost everywhere!!!
Though hectic, that's how I should enjoy my life, instead of just the usual routine - going to work, coming back to work, doing house chores, eat and sleep.
Cool isn't it?!
The best thing is, having to the quality time we spent with different people in our lives! And cherish the moment both of us spending together is still the best!

When hubby ordered Nasi Lemak Pak Nasser, I couldn't just keep quiet.  I want one too.......but some healthy wrapper from AirAsia.....nice!  Must wondering where we went to?  Yes, home!  We miss mum and Felix.  And Nee-nee and Mimi....
Quality time with family, playing......games?!?! Hahaha......
Sugarbun ice-cream is a must!
The July 2013 edition of 3sixty
Took the reflection of slippers with different colors......this photo is taken in the hotel in Sandakan
I like this simple wardrobe!

Flown to Sandakan on the 27th July where hubby attended the NSA meeting.  That night there was a community gathering in Sandakan Baha'i Centre where it was so nice to see the friends and had a nice makan-makan.
Flora bought some cakes from Baker Field....yummy!

Breakfast at a coffee shop just next to our hotel.....
Banana Leaf Lunch with the Baha'i friends again after the meeting on July 28th....
My lunch, of course....before heading to the airport and leave for KK!

Catch 22

So went to see Alan with his new position as a manager at Catch 22,
a so-called globally inspired seafood restaurant located at Sadong Jaya in Kota Kinabalu.
We were glad to see him there serving his customers with such joyfulness and confidence.
All the best, Alan!

Beautiful design and concept....just like in a blue sea....:)
There are 40 over items on their menu and my goodness! Their soup-of-the-day is really gooooood!
From Mediterranean to Asian style, they serve really  fresh seafood including salmon belly (as shown on top left) to crab burgers (bottom left).....oh ya, if you want hush puppy, and you can get hush puppy here indeed (bottom right)....top right is somekind of a fish dip served with toasted bread....Nice!
Oh my, hubby is definitely enjoying his pannacota........with strawberry toppings.....Manager Alan Craig is on his right with his signature smile, telling us the food they have and what's best in the restaurant.....
yum!
Specially made for us!  Hot chocolate!  The best I had in KK!

4 Days to Naw Ruz

Time really flies especially when you're having the nervous-wrecking moment,
preparing for an important job interview.
And now, it's going to be another
four days before the end of the fasting period for the Baha'is.
Oh, just want to show off some photos of easy-to-prepare, less fuss food that easily feed the dry and flavourless taste buds.

Wholemeal bread spread with tuna and slices of cucumber, tomato and Bombay onions.
Awesome chilli chicken with tomato
Not forgetting a wonderful breaking fast session with friends of Penampang......prepared a pot of beehoon in chilli sauce!

The Snake Year

It is the brand new year again and it is especially special this year since both hubby and I are celebrating the new year with mum and Felix.
Definitely another most memorable chinese new year moment in my life!

Kuih Bakul (in Malay) or Nien Kao (in Mandarin) (also by direct translation to English ~ Nien for sticky and Kao for cake).

A mixture of Chinese and Indian dishes for Reunion Dinner on the eve of Chinese New Year

Anticipating to eat!

During the first day of Chinese New Year, we held a simple open house.  So everyone was enjoying mum's mee sua with chicken soup!  Not forgetting layer cakes and cookies all the way from Kuching :)

During the 3rd day of Chinese New Year, we were specially invited to enjoy Aunty Lily's foochow dish!  Thank you Aunty!

Mum's in Town

Oh No!  Am gaining almost 5 kilos within 2 weeks!
Too much of eating, especially when mum is in town.

I guess, the new gym is definitely waiting for me!

Guess we had to much of durian in the form of ice-cream!  Selling at RM3, one can enjoy the nice cone, exactly like a fresh durian.  Just drop by City Mall to grab one.

Had these in a friend's house and my goodness, mum and Felix love them so much we had to go to the bakery almost every day.  Seriously delicious!  So, while stock last, go grab all these at Uncle Biscuit, near the Damai Post Office ya!

Moo Cow Frozen Yogurt!  Got these at Lintas Plaza!

Soft Ice-cream at 1Borneo

Felix and Mum were totally crazy about durians!  So, I had to follow them to Just Berrys Dessert House also at Lintas Plaza for these!

Totally recommendable!

Last but not least, mum at the Sabah Foundation Building

Happy New Year 2013!

Oh my!
I've not been updating my blog as both hubby and I have been too busy moving
into our new loving home
and also busy with the big day
our loving newly-wed, brother Sanjay and the love of his life, Kavitha,
(which I shall upload the photo-story later, ya)
And I hope it's still not to late to say
Happy New Year 2013
and of course, a very Happy 1st Year Anniversary to my baby hubby, Roy :)

Well, my resolution is still the same,
mainly because it has not been fulfilled yet since last year!
In fact, I only need to have two very important resolutions to be fulfilled this year though I could already foresee the challenges and obstacles that await me.
But at least, I'm sooooooooo relieved that mum is given another chance of life,
oh thank God!  Already one very relieving news to start the new year.

So, I shall upload these two photos first to.................start the new chapter of 2013!

How did we celebrate the New Year?!!  So we had a simple breakfast at Big brother Suresh's house!  Eating cucur cempedak and cucur pisang.  ~once in a while dish ~
Chef Alan showed the simple recipe to make apple pie!  So that was for dessert/dinner!
