Wanna look real good?

althA fellow colleague loves to observe people and this morning, he encountered a lady who happened to walk by and from there, he knew she's sick.  Guess, a person's look is rather important.  To look real good and glowing from head to toe are all measures of health and vitality.  So, would like to share the ten-step facial to a healthy complexion without spending a fortune on cosmetics and commercial treatments (got all these from Reader's Digest:  1001 Easy Ways for Earth-Wise Living)....:)


KEEP OUT OF THE SUN AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE
This to prevent premature ageing and the risk of developing skin cancer

USE SUNSCREEN
Apply it about 30 minutes before you go out

EAT A DIET HIGH IN NATURAL FIBRE
Digestive problems can cause skin blemishes.  So eat lots of fruit, vegetables and whole grains.

TRY TO MINIMIZE OR COMPLETELY AVOID EXPOSURE TO YOUR SKIN'S NATURAL ENEMIES 
Natural enemies? Yup and these include stress, too many late nights, coffee, alcohol and yeah, if you see people smoking in front of you, KEEP OUT! or you if smoke yourself, well....you know what to do....

AVOID SOAP
Choose a gentle cleansing oil or cream instead.

MOISTURISE YOUR FACE EVERY DAY
To achieve smoother and more even appearance

DRINK 8 GLASSES OF WATER A DAY
Even though you have to go to the loo like almost every 15 minutes

GIVE YOUR SKIN TIME TO REST AND BREATHE
Clean thoroughly and leaving it free of moisturisers and make up

APPLY FRUIT ACIDS IN THE FORM OF A FACE MASK
Enzymes and acids in the fruit help to slough off dead skin cells, fade age spots and make your skin appear brighter

REGULAR AEROBIC EXERCISE
Oh yes, no escape....


So, want to look young and good....like my mum at 56.......Love you mum!
