12th Day of Ridvan

An open-house was held on the 1st May at Kota Marudu Learning Centre (KMLC), hosted by Mr Empaga Sabai and his family to celebrate the last day of Ridvan.  Lots of friends came to lend their helping hands to make the whole event a joyful one.

Used to hear people say about this particular type of fish known as Ikan Mata Uji Rashid because of the big eyes (maybe?) but wow, the eyes are indeed huge.

Fuhyo, sedap oh!!!!

Have you ever cook chicken meat in a bamboo over a fire?  An exotic delicacy from Sarawak, it is called ayam pansoh.
Could smell the nice aroma once the chicken meat come out from the bamboo

Lemang made of glutinous rice and coconut milk

Lemang is a traditional Malay food that is also cooked in a bamboo stick lined with banana leaves over a fire and enjoyed by many.
