Lunch with Ulam

It's already the fourth day into the eleventh month of the year.  How time flies...........but life still goes on.  Haha.........Kak Roses brought along some fresh and raw vegetable dishes or being called locally as ulam in which can be eaten with rice and sambal belacan.  All these for today's lunch.

A healthy lunch with me ~ said Kak Roses

We have Ulam Raja to clean our toxic blood, cucumber, sliced cabbage and daun bandung which can be eaten with or without the hot, hot, hot sambal shrimp paste.....

Got little white jambu air or is said to be called water guava in English.......all the way from Serian.....

Very full already ~

The aftermath........eat + laughter + life history = satisfaction

  1. hi ping, ulam is just one of the dishes that i miss from malaysia. sometimes, i make it here in australia with the left-over belacan that my sis-in-law brought for us from their last visit...and that reminds me to ask her to bring some more when her family comes again this april! we do have belacan on sale here but there's nothing like the original one from sarawak....hmmmm, talking about mouth-watering food!
