Last post of the year.....

......My chabo friend just updated her facebook status, saying that in 2011, we must always be in peace so that money will pour in our pocket like water.  Hahaha....she heard that on the radio.  Well, guess that's for us to judge.  I could see many flowers blooming in my backyard and first time, I saw this small fruit growing from a fortune plant.  Never bear fruit before but am happy something actually grow in the garden.  Fortune coming soon?  Hehehe....

So, that's about it.  My last post for the year 2010.  So see you next year.  Wont be updating for a few days as I will be in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah beginning tomorrow. 

May more love, peace and harmony be showered to everyone in 2011.

...yes, bought unsweetened ice-cream from SCOOPS and to my delight, there's Natural Yogurt in today's menu.....yippiiieee!

New Year's Eve Luncheon at Causeway Bay Hong Kong Restaurant

Hasn't been there for ages and mum wanted to look for new clothes for the coming Chinese New Year.  So went shopping and had a nice lunch on the last day of the year with mum and Felix, this time at Causeway Bay Hong Kong Restaurant located at the Ground Floor, Crown Square Shopping Centre, Jalan Pending.

I ordered Almond Tea but to my despair.........The taste was absolutely beyond my expectation.
(~ RM2.80 per cup)

 


Mum's ever favourite Steamed Chicken Rice with Salted Fish....everytime she comes here, this is the only dish she'll order....duh!  And I have to complain every time....hahaha ^^ (~ RM7.90)

Have you made any resolution for the coming year?
I know I don't have one
Rather it's because I've already made mine as a BIG wish on my last birthday
Don't think want to make God confused with my many wishes
So I'll just focus to one important wish
Only He and I know
While others including you have to figure it out themselves

God does answer our prayers
It might be a YES, or a NO
Or somehow rather

And most of the time it is up to us to find out

It's such a blessing to know that
Once you wish for something
Especially with all your heart and soul

How I was hoping for a solution

But everything turns out to be something undesirable

For us to cherish the love
For us to know the presence of  FRIENDS

That always lead us to happiness and strength

Christmas visitings

So went for Christmas visitings at ONLY two houses but had nice fulfilling lunches, thanks to the great cooking of  varieties of dishes.

Couldn't find this in one of the pharmacies in the Spring shopping mall, so I went to The Beauty Avenue at One Jaya Shopping Centre, Jalan Song.  yeah, my third bottle of Hydrating Body Lotion.  I just love this Australian organic product! 

Teary eyes.....

.........I got myself a little emotional all the way from Kuching to my mum's hometown and finally back home to my own bed again.  Plus all those sweet messages since the day before the 19th and more after the clock strikes around midnight......my inboxes, smses and wall posts in my facebook account....wow, accompanied me all the way, thanks my lovely ones.....!!!  I was totally in tears, only God knows...... 

Able to hop into a bus and had an unbearable 6-hour back-aching (or rather butt-aching) ride to Sarikei to see my grandmother was a good thing, gosh how much I miss her.  Seeing and holding her face in my hands was the best ever moment that further broke my heart and soul.  She's getting older but her trembling smile never fades away.  She's still as chirpy and..........stronger than ever.  *And i cannot imagine how idiotic some irresponsible people were that would always wanted to hurt her feelings!!!  She is such a delicate God's created creature.....

So took some pictures, yeah, only some.......I was totally lazy to go out and rather took a long stare at the empty wall and ceiling.....in deep thoughts.....

the rice is hard (or is it I've forgotten how rice tasted like after not eating for sooooo, sooooo long)




At least the salmon tasted okay but the size should have been bigger and THICKER!  Ahaks!




I think I own the Secret Recipe......today, Felix bought all these for me, for us I mean......gosh!
