Christmas visitings

So went for Christmas visitings at ONLY two houses but had nice fulfilling lunches, thanks to the great cooking of  varieties of dishes.

We had chicken curry, duck cooked with dark sauces and bbq/grilled ikan keli @ catfish!

Mixed Vege is always a must :)





Supposed to be HATI PAREK but turned to be Black Beauty. 
Still nice though with a lot of raisins :)

 


Hehe....took this picture because only the ministers have the chance to eat these type of rice....hahaha
A rather special Basmathi Rice...definitely a limited edition.




LEMANG or glutinous rice cooked in hallowed bamboo stick lined with banana leaves :)




So this is where the catfishes are grilled.....hmmm......




Poor catfish.....




Before leaving for Kuching........This is the famous Tasik Biru (Blue Lake in English) which is used to be a gold mine. 




Second lunch for the day....yup....and I need to forget my dinner tonite!  Serious!
